SwapSF

SwapSF is a project that orginizes all sorts of swaps in the city, such as clothing swaps (men only, women only, co-ed) and book swaps. At the door, you hand over your items, and then you're free to pick out annnyyything you want out of the whole stash contributed by everyone. Free music and refreshments are usually offered with the price of admission. I have yet to go to one, but they seem awesome! All the fun of the Flickr SwapShop group, but made even better by the atmosphere and browsing the items first-hand rather than just pictures on the internet! (And no paying for shipping!) Plus, all leftovers go to charities, so it's a win-win! For more information, go to the website, or go directly to their FAQs page.
