Thrift Finds

Haven't been thrifting in what seems like ages! =P So I headed to my usual shop, Thrift Town, today to do some hunting. And I found some great stuff!


I absolutely love this retro/vintage swimsuit by Sirena! The padding made my breasts look abnormal, so I ripped them out. Now it's perfection! Bought for $3.99.



I've been searching eBay for boots like these. Good thing I held off, cuz I bought these for $4.99.




I like this straw clutch wallet, but not exactly sure when I'd use it. But at 69cents, I just bought it anyway. haha

w00t! I bought the Damsel one-piece! I can't wait for it to land on my porch!... so I can wear them on vacation to SoCal and Hawaii!

While I was at it, I bought a pair of gray tights for $2.99. =D

Selling My Swimsuits

Ok, so I changed my mind about the Patrick Robinson swimsuit. I feel too exposed in it, so I might return it. I'm also selling some of my older swimsuits. If you're interested, they're here.

I'll be saving up for the Damsel solid one-piece from Urban Outfitters. I really love vintage/vintage-inspired swimsuits.

Motivational Swimsuit

Crochet swimsuits are yum, too! I took a leap and bought a two piece [that's not a tankini]! It's flattering, but I still need some more working out to do. The hard part is jumping back on the horse. =P (Looks better in real life than in the picture.)

Target's latest Go:International designer's Patrick Robinson. I love his Grecian/Bohemian-feel collection, especially all the medallion print pieces. At the Target I shopped at today, I had wanted to try on the medallion print one piece, but they only had extra-small and extra-large available. =( Hopefully the next Target I go to will have my size in stock so that I can see how it fits on me.
EDIT (05.10.07) Went to another Target today. Tried it, fit it, looked good in it, bought it! w00t! hahaha!

Spring has sprung!

The days are getting warmer, which means it's time to bask in the sunlight... and dip into the water! It's time to get out the swimsuits! Or if you're like me, time to be on the hunt for a new one for this year.

Since I have unwanted bodily protrusions, namely my belly, I usually go for styles with more coverage, such as one pieces and tankinis. (Maybe one day I'll be able to strut a bikini. <-- Wishful thinking.) However, as cute as tube top one pieces can be, I try to steer clear of them. The last swimsuit I purchased was a tube top one piece, and it was a big mistake. Whenever I wore it, I kept having to pull it up after it had fallen too low on my chest. What an annoyance! So here are my picks for swim attire.
